My paintings are influenced by thoughts and immediate surroundings. Particular influences are urban and rural landscapes. I am interested in the conflict and balance between development and conservation of land.

A Milton Keynes potter, throwing slip decorated earthenware terracotta. My aim is to maintain a sense of fluidity or movement to emphasis that clay in its original state was liquid.'
Allan Jones
My carvings are all hand carved, from a sustainable timber source, and then painted using Acrylic Medium to create a lifelike appearance. Here are two examples of the kinds of bird carving I make. I also make fish sculptures and table lamps from driftwood, rope and seashells.
